Misdemeanor Theft Offenses

Most theft offenses are resolved with a reduction in the charge and an agreement to pay restitution (the monetary value of whatever was taken). Depending on a defendant’s history, a defendant may also be required to serve probation, take certain classes, get treatment, or serve jail time.
